OverandOut

So after 4 amazing weeks over the oceans I'm back here in Sydney town and ready report on all the inspirational and awe worthy things we saw yonder.

First things first Unto this Last located on Brick Lane in London was by far one of the coolest little workshop/showrooms I ever did see.
Now the idea is that everything, and I mean everything is made from plywood using a (and correct me if I'm wrong) a CNC router in a workshop located behind the store itself (pictured above). It was all so very clever and most all their products can be flat packed and are made on demand saving resources and transportation costs, they have also almost eliminated the need for industrial fittings as they are all cut from the same material. They make a wide range of wonderful things including furniture, lighting and other household accessories.

I was so thoroughly impressed and I'm hoping this innovation reaches our shores sometime!!
