Some shots taken with my Superheadz Wide and Slim Black Devil camera: see more here. These are all the way back from summer and some shots from my visit to Thailand. It seem like so long ago, since the cold winter weather has set in. I feel chilled to the bone lately. And 7 day vegan diet that my man challenged me with last week didn't do much for keeping me warm, but do look out for some great vegan recipe's, i'll be posting some soon.

LOVE these photos! i shot w/ my pink dress slim this wkend. so fun! man, i wish i lived near an ocean. seems so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteno, i've never developed color film. waaaaaay too much involved w/ that! ha. and i scan my own film so i can have full control. plus, the scans you get aren't very big. i usually scan at least 20-25" wide (300 dpi) on the longest end for 35mm. (bigger for 120 or 4x5) just in case i ever want/need to print nice and big.
ReplyDeletebut you're right, having someone else do it would be a lot faster. :/ but the perfectionist in me says no.
i studied photo in school. so i SHOULD know a thing or 2. :P i resisted digital as much as possible while there, and i am finding i still do. it's just not art to me. guess i'm old school.
ReplyDeletei hope you shoot more w/ your wide & slim! seriously love the photos. do you have any other toy cameras?
I love the grainy texture created with film cameras, in combination with the desaturated tones, creates a serene sense of nostalgia. Beautiful photographs, the seascape shots are without a doubt my favourite :)
ReplyDeletei love all these photos. just makes me want to spend my summer in cottage country, camping, anything summer. great post!
