SIGG is my friend

Some of you may be well aquatinted with my obsession with SIGG bottles so you're welcome to tune out and look at the pretty pictures but for those of you who aren't let me tell you a little something about the world's greatest drink bottles.

I began my love affair with SIGG about 10 years ago, when my sister was working at Kathmandu outdoor gear store, way back then I was barely capable of having an opinion of my own but I remember thinking how convenient it was for school. So my first SIGG was a hammy down shiny red 600ml bottle and I loved it, but I sadly made the mistake of freezing it and it broke. Years later during my very first semesters at design school I began to truly understand the importance of products like SIGG. Not only are these bottles environmentally better than the standard PET bottles but they are also extremely durable, repairable, and long lasting. To give you an example, the first one that I bought myslef back in 2006 has been dropped off a 4th floor balcony, kicked around at soccer practice and been around the world and back and it's still just as useful as the day I bought it. 

The two featured above are the newer finishes of the standard 1L bottle,  mine is the smoked pearl and Ng chose the shiny orange. The new lids also have a smooth matt finish and of course still fit the old bottles and remain replaceable. You can also get special cleaning products for them, although some hot soapy water will suffice, and there are plenty of other accessories for your beloved SIGG.
So let's rid the world of plastic bottles and give SIGG a try. I bought mine at Accoutrement in Mosman.
