My Tiny Loft Bedroom

I've been doing a lot of Airbnb lately, renting out my big room so I've resorted to staying in my tiny kitchen sleeping loft. During the day I fold up the mattress and it turns into a teeny tiny living room so that I can study. It's made me realise how little space I really need to live.  It's so cute and cosy, I love it. 

It's also pretty perfect for my thesis hibernation period.

Green Living!

I know I've been a bit absent lately but I have an excellent excuse. I've been doing research for my thesis (Encouraging Sustainable Consumer Behaviours through Participatory Design) back home in Sydney. I've found out some excellent stuff and met some great people all involved in sustainability. It's so inspiring seeing all the amazing work people are doing; from creating plans for sustainable communities to starting up collaborative consumption sites like openshed.

This was just a quick post to share with you this great little video from Green Villages on making your own small garden anywhere. Once I get back to Berlin I promise to share some more great inspirations that I gathered on my trip back home and of course keep you up to date on my thesis!!
